Manny Pacquiao has indeed signed on with manager Al Haymon, which means he is now a part of the Premier Boxing Champion creator’s massive stable of welterweights. Former eight-division champion and Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao will end a two-year hiatus from fighting in the United States when he defends his secondary WBA welterweight title on Jan. 19 against Adrien Broner in Las Vegas.At 39, Pacquiao is showing no signs of decreasing his fight schedule or seriously considering retirement. He just won the WBA title when he scored a TKO victory over Lucas Matthysse in July. Now Pacquiao is in advanced talks to take on Adrien Broner. In fact, a source close to Pacquiao’s camp has confirmed the fight will happen.
